The above photograph is of the Weir Village public shrine and Roll of Honour which was errected in the side door recess of the Weir Co-operative store in 1918. The memorial was removed many years ago and its whereabouts are not known and the memorial is now presumed lost. The roll of names was place in a metal box and buried beneath the Deerplay Memorial.
